Terms and Conditions – for Catering

Trio of Desserts

Here are our standard terms and conditions for providing catering. It is a simple stage payment, starting with holding the date. The balance of the money is paid with 50% of the balance paid 14 days prior to the event. The final payment is due the day prior to the event.

Terms & Conditions

An Estimate shows the apprroximate costs based on a description of what is required. If requirements change, costs will change accordingly.

A Quotation is valid for 14 days only from receipt of the quote.

When the quote is accepted, and if required a Terms and Conditions form will be sent to the client.

It is agreed that a payment 25% of the price will secure the date. 50% of the remainder should be paid a minimum of 14 days prior to the event. This pays for the ingredients. The final 50% should be paid no later than 1 day prior to the event.

If the client cancels the event, or the services of The Isle of Wight Cookery School are not required by the client (for any reason), 12 days prior to the event, no charge will be made. If this occurs 7 days or fewer prior to the event, the amount paid is not refundable. After this, if the client cancels the event or the services of The Isle of Wight Cookery School are not required on the day, then no monies are refunded.

The Isle of Wight Cookery School reserves the right to charge the full amount if no deposit is paid, and the client cancels the event 3 days or fewer prior to the event.
