The Great Wight Bite Food Festival
The Great Wight Bite is the first dedicated food festival celebrating the wealth of homegrown food and drink producers, chefs, restaurants, hotels, venues, etc, here on the island. The Isle of Wight has become a food and drink destination!
Domine and Richard Nowell are the driving force behind this event. They also run the successful Seafood Festival in Lymington every summer! Find out about both of these by visiting the websites.
It was great being able to take part in the GWB alongside other the chefs and organisations during the inaugural festival in 2023. Having run the Wallingford Food Festival from its founding in 2011 through to 2015, I have an insight into the hard work involved in putting on a two-day festival. Domine and Richard work extremely hard to get the events they run working smoothly and also to ensure there is something for all the family!
